The planting really worked out well!!! Thanks so much to all the WAFC volunteers and the Lake Fairfax staff! (Kevin Fisher and Carl Kirtley especially!)

WAFC purchased and planted:

• 10 Pin Oaks
• 10 Red Buds
• 4 Deodara Cedar
• 4 Scarlett Oaks

Next time you head out to Lake Fairfax, you will see all the Pin Oaks along the outskirts of the field. Close enough to provide shade so folks can watch games being played (these are fairly large oaks--but we won't see much shade until they have a change to grow a little).
